A little clarification from yesterday’s post because posture is way more nuanced than one 10-second video can show. I’m not showing you a perfectly corrected body. I’m showing you a body in the middle of correcting itself. After four pregnancies, years of compensating, carrying babies on my hip, feeding them, picking them up, sitting in weird positions because somebody needed me—my posture took a beating. And I know I’m not the only mom whose body adapted to motherhood in ways she didn’t even notice happening. That was the point of yesterday’s video. Not “this is what every posterior pelvic tilt looks like.” It was: look how significant these postural changes can become—and look how much they can improve. I’m still working on mine. I still have compensations. I still have things to strengthen. I still catch my body falling back into old patterns. This is a journey measured in time, consistency and effort, not a before-and-after photo. So if you’re a mom looking at your own posture thinking, holy shit, what happened to me? You’re not looking at my finished product. You’re watching me work through it too.
