My goal with this new impression mat was to make it look like cute bees as opposed to creepy bugs and termites. You might have missed the first time I made a soap with these impression mats, but I made it a golden color and I infused it with oatmeal, which turned it to like a tan cream shade and gave most people creepy vibes. For this one, I tried some new things. The first one was dusting a little bit of gold powder on top of the impression mat before I poured a yellow instead of a gold shade on top. I also did not infuse this batch with oatmeal, so it did not turn to more of like a tan cream shade. I went with a smaller layer of yellow on the top and then I swirled a beautiful light pink, magenta, kind of purpley pink and then an orange for the rest of the bar. I wanted those colors to represent wildflowers and then I scented it with a blend of golden wildflower honey, sweet clover and chamomile. I loved your name suggestion, Bee Groovy. I'd love to hear what you think of this batch.
