Cloudflare's Monetization Gateway went live July 1, 2026. Snowflake, Datamatics, and Monte Carlo are all calling 2026 the year clean data becomes the actual bottleneck for AI agents, not the models themselves. Poor data quality is already costing companies 15 to 25% of annual revenue. That part isn't one guy's theory. That's the consensus. The "data refinery" label is Greg Isenberg's framing. But the underlying mechanic, agents paying for structured, trustworthy data, is bigger than any one podcast episode. Here's my read. This becomes both things at once. The people who actually understand the niche they're refining data for will get paid for years. And the people who watch them get paid will build courses, templates, and "done for you" data refinery kits around it within 12 months. Is data refinery the start of a real service category, or the next side hustle MLM wrapped in AI language? Drop your take below. I read every comment.
