POV: YOU'RE THE SUPERVISOR OF THE WORKER WHO "NEVER NEEDS ANYTHING."

That caseworker you never have to worry about, you know, the one. They get their work done, they handle the hard cases. When somebody calls off, they're the one you know can handle one more thing. And when you ask them how they're doing, I'm fine. Every time. But be careful, because sometimes we accidentally reward our most dependable people with more work and less support. We check on the workers who are visibly struggling because we know they need us, while the one holding everything together, everything together till they can't. Being capable doesn't mean they don't need supervision. And being quiet doesn't mean they're okay. So this week, check on that worker differently. Instead of saying everything good, because you already know what they're gonna say. Why not ask them, what are you carrying right now that I might not see? Because your strongest workers shouldn't have to fall apart before they get your attention.
