going to school while having alopecia is definitely a different experience. I feel like I haven't talked about this enough, so I want to share my experience a little bit with you guys. I guess I can't even really describe the feeling of walking into a new school or just a classroom in general and knowing that everybody is staring at you and kind of exchanging looks and all wondering the same thing about you. I know I was really nervous for my first day of high school, but I think that aspect added a whole other layer of anxiety on top of it. As time went on, school definitely got easier, but I think there was a part of me that just always felt uncomfortable. I say all of that to say, the reason I'm making this video is one, I know that there are other people that feel this way and I want you to know that you're not alone. And two, even if you don't relate to anything I just said, if you notice that somebody in one of your classes is maybe on the quieter side or they seem a little bit uncomfortable, please try to talk to them. I know it kind of goes without saying to be nice to the people around you, but you really never know how much somebody needs that. It would have made me feel so alone in the beginning if I had that one person that would have made me feel more included. It also feels really good knowing that you might have been able to help or make their day a little bit easier. Anyways, I love you guys and let me know if you want more videos of me talking about stuff like this. Bye guys!
