Day 220 & 221 /365

It was like running on Sorvete. There's a new August menu and I'm weighing on content so I just sorted off the morning by creating this. I'm in prison and I love the time I get alone before all the workers come in. My mind is clear, I said my prayers and I feel like I can take on the day. Unfortunately, this day two workers called out, so I needed to make a lot of sauces. That was chocolate fudge. This is chocolate fudge and that was caramel before. Owning a business, you just always have to expect the unexpected. Because one minute you're making caramel and the next you're trying to fix a machine that costs just as much as a car. So take my ship advice and old people advice, save for rainy day. Even if it's $100 a week, put it down. At some quick pasta, the hubby made for me. And I ended off the day by making some strawberry sorbet. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, this is two days in one. A supply I didn't show the night before, so I had to run to Price Mart to make sure we had this in time to start. I feel like I'm kind of back on my hair journey. I gave it a chop and I'm going to try this time to maintain it. The problem is, I like to sleep, so I like to sleep. So I'm going to relax there and run a business is really stressful, so I really should tie down. Remember the strawberries I've seen about the day before? Well, this is it in all its glory. It was lunchtime, so I ran over to Sushi Banton to see what they were doing. And of course, they were making my favorite roll, the Flimsy Zest. Oh, if you know, you know. But I can't get carried away because we still have work to do. Just when I saw some glimmer of hope, but it gets done. I realized here that a part of the machine was missing and I had no idea. In my haste, I misplaced it and I was so angry at myself. These parts are not that easy to come by, so I had to hold myself accountable and take my own money and repurchase it. Thankfully, I had a spare part. So now I have to wait until the shipment comes in. That's it, in all its glory. And I think it's a concern. Reminder that although everything is moving fast around me, I have to slow it down. And I ended off the evening by admiring these ice cream cakes. And that's it. You guys, bye.
