Aloe Vera "Keratin" Hair Mask 🌿✨ Everyone always asks me if I got a keratin treatment after I use this mask... 😂🤍 Nope! This isn't an actual keratin treatment, but it leaves my hair looking so smooth, soft, and shiny that people always think I had one. How to make it: ✨ ½ aloe vera leaf (gel only) ✨ 3 tbsp flaxseeds ✨ 1½–2 cups water ✨ 2 tbsp jojoba oil ✨ 1 tsp grapeseed oil 🌿 The night before: I leave my aloe vera leaf standing in a cup of water overnight to help drain the yellow latex before using it. 🌱 Add the flaxseeds and water to a pot and simmer over medium heat until a gel forms (about 8–10 minutes). ✨ Strain the flaxseed gel while it's still warm. 🤍 Blend the flaxseed gel, aloe vera gel, jojoba oil, and grapeseed oil until well combined. Why I love these ingredients: 🖤 Aloe Vera: Helps hydrate the hair, adds slip for easier detangling, and leaves the hair feeling softer and shinier. 🖤 Flaxseed Gel: Helps smooth the hair cuticle, reduce the appearance of frizz, improve softness, and boost shine. 🖤 Jojoba Oil: A lightweight oil that helps soften the hair, lock in moisture, and add shine without weighing it down. 🖤 Grapeseed Oil: Helps seal in moisture, smooth the hair, and enhance shine. How to use: ✨ Apply to damp hair from roots to ends. ✨ Leave on for 30–45 minutes. ✨ Shampoo thoroughly (I like to shampoo twice), then follow with conditioner and style as usual. This mask is one of my favorite DIY treatments for soft, smooth, frizz free shiny hair. Save this for your next wash day! 🤍 #hairtok #haircare #aloevera #shinyhair #hairmask
