Cyclops Visor Gaming Headset Ep. 2

Episode two of turning the Cyclops visor into a gaming headset. First off, thank you to everyone who told me exactly what I would need and what to buy for this project because this iFixit Moray driver kit is a lifesaver. I'm also a big skateboarder, so the fact that they had a sticker in the box put a real big smile on my face. I wish I remembered who commented to get a Dremel, but thank you. I had no idea how to cut plastic or what that would look like, so I've got a lot to read because these instructions are pretty hefty. And now that I finally have the proper tools, we can finally break into this thing. I have absolutely no idea what this is going to look like on the inside, so I'm kind of scared, but I am hopeful. The biggest problem I had was just prying everything out after the screws. The screws were super easy, but it felt like they glued everything in. I had to use a flathead all around the edges just to pry this thing open. And even still, that wasn't enough. I ended up just having to manually handle the whole thing, uh, cautiously and carefully. And, uh, man handling this thing. I was being super careful, but I kid you not, it took me anywhere between 15 or 20 minutes to separate these two pieces of plastic. But once that was done, I was able to force it off and we were able to see what it looked like on the inside. I was actually really surprised, kind of with how easy this whole thing is. It's really not complicated, which works to our favor because now we can take like all of this out. I'm actually super excited with how much room we have to work with. So all that's left to do is just wait for the headset to come in the mail.
