Okay, this is a definitive list of the top 10 witchy series of all time, not individual books, but series of all time according to Goodreads. If you don't know who I am, my name is Steven Aitchison, I'm a full-time author, writing the Witches of Scotland series, of which I've got 25 books, and I do daily book and audiobook recommendations on this channel. So if you like that kind of thing, give me a wee follow, okay? This ranking combines the Goodreads rating across all the books in a series. The average ratings your book and the average star rating across the whole series. So that means just one book is not carrying the whole series. It's got to do well throughout the whole series. So it measures popularity, staying power, and reader satisfaction as well, okay? Staying power and reader satisfaction as well, okay? Let's get right into it. There's gonna be a lot of surprises here, so you're definitely gonna want to bookmark this video. Okay, and at number 10 is Sweep Wicker. Okay, and at number 10 is Sweep Wicker, and the author is Kate Tearman. She's got 15 books out in the series with a total of 191,000 ratings across all 15 books. And the average rating across all 15 books is 4.13. And if you know Goodreads, that's really good. So I've never heard of this before, so I'm really interested in this. Number nine is The Wicked Years by Gregory Maguire. There's four books in this series and there's a total of 825,000 ratings. However, the average rating is 3.55. So Kenny goes a wee bit lower down the scale. Number eight in the witchy series is Lives of the Mayfair Witches by Anne Rice. 250,000 ratings with an average score of 3.93. Number seven is Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin. 581,000 ratings in total with an average score of 3.8. Number six, this is one I've not heard of before as well. Is The Waverly Family by Sarah Addison Allen. There's two books in this series and it's had 150,000 ratings overall and an average score of 4.03 on Goodreads, okay? Number five is Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins, and there's four books in this series, 315,000 overall ratings across the four books with an average rating score of 3.99. Number four, this is no surprise for me, is a Practical Magic series by Alice Hoffman. 414,000 ratings across the series and with an average score of 4.03 on Goodreads. Number three is Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco. 760,000 ratings across the series with an average of 3.93. Number two, this surprised me as well. I've never heard of The Hollows by Kim Harrison. There's 18 books in this series, 768,000 ratings in total with an average of 4.38, which is brilliant for Goodreads. Number one, no surprise here at all. The All Souls series by Deborah Harkness. 1.1 million ratings with an average of 4.06. So when I was doing this comparison with the top 30, and I'm actually in the top 30, my books of Witches of Scotland series, 23,000 ratings across the first series with an average of 4.18 across the whole series on Goodreads.
