in no particular order ten boo here are my top 10 that I have read in 2026. Well, order. I'm going to start this off with the best book I've obviously read so far and that is This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews. Everyone saw that coming. There is not a single person who has seen me before who didn't know that book. Perfection. Six stars. My only five star. It is that good. Then I have three books in the same series, Ruthless Fae, The Reckoning, and Shadow Princess by The Twisted Sister. The Zodiac Academy series. They all hold me because I binged read four in like a week. I was slightly obsessed, mentally. Much. Picked. 5. Tea & Alchemy by Sharon Lynn Fisher. The most perfect cozy gothic romantasy. This was a very, very, very fun retelling of Dracula. It is just perfection. Good Spirits by B.K. Borison. This is my petition to have Irish men narrate every single audiobook. That's if you're going to read it. Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa. Reading this book is like being hugged. The best hug in the world. And there were quotes in here which remind you why reading is so amazing and why books bring people together. Empire of the Damned by Jay Kristoff. This is like emotional damage within pages. This whole series so far, the first two books have destroyed me so much that I haven't picked up book five. But my god, am I excited. The characters, the most morally unreliable narrators you will ever meet, but I love them. This is such an incredible fantasy series. Well, together. I'm lumping these two together because it's a duology. Kind of pairs. The Spellbreaker Duology by Charlie N. Holmberg. I've literally just finished listening to this duology. This is so much love. The magic concept. It is based in Victorian England and you have spellmakers and spellbreakers. FMCs are the spellbreaker, MMC is the spellmaker. And finally, we have The Last Starborn Seer by Venetia Constantine. This was such an incredible first book in a fantasy series. This has such incredible characters and the world lore is so rich.
