Okay, this is part 2 of the top 20 fantasy series of all time, objectively ranked using three Goodreads scores. If you don't know who I am, my name is Steven Aitchison and I'm the author of The Witches of Scotland series and I do daily book and audiobook recommendations on here. Okay, so the way I've ranked these is using Goodreads three measures. The first measure is the total ratings across every book in the series. So I get a total number and to balance it out, I've also done the average ratings per book. And to further balance it out, I've also done the star rating average across the entire series as well. So that gives us a composite score for every series on this list. And you definitely gonna want to bookmark this video because there's gonna be a lot of comments on this video about the rankings. Okay, straight into it. No. 10 is The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and obviously Brandon Sanderson towards the latter end of the series. 14 books in the series. 3.34 million ratings across the entire series on Goodreads with an average rating of 4.21, which gives a composite score of 11. The next series is The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. There's five books in the series, 3.28 million ratings on Goodreads with an average rating of 4.08, which gives it a composite score of 10.67. No. 8 in the top 10 is His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. No surprises here. Three books in the series, 2.5 million ratings across the three books with an average star rating of 4.10, which gives a composite score of 10.67. No. 7 is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Seven books in the series with 5.92 million ratings on Goodreads with an average rating of 4.03 and the compass score of 8.67. Okay, No. 6. Mistborn Era 1 by Brandon Sanderson. One of my all-time favourite series. Anyone has three books in the series with 2.43 million ratings on Goodreads, an average star rating of 4.47, which gives a composite score of 7.33. No. 5, one of my all-time favourites as well. The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. Five books in the series so far, 2.05 million ratings on Goodreads with an average star rating of 4.59 and a composite score of seven. No. 4. This is my favourite series of all time, even though it's not finished. The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss. So far there's only two books in the series, 1.75 million ratings on Goodreads, an average rating of 4.54, which gives it a composite score of six. No. 3. This was unexpected for me. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. Now there's only two books in the series, but it's had 2.01 million ratings on Goodreads. It's got an average rating of 4.51, which gives it a composite score of 5.67. Okay, No. 2 on this list. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. Five books in the series, 6.28 million ratings on Goodreads with an average star rating of 4.39, which gives a composite score of 5. And you probably guessed it. Number one. Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien. Three books in the series, 5.46 million ratings on Goodreads with an average star rating of 4.5 and the composite score of 2.67. That's it for the final top 20 fantasy series of all time. Obviously, I've taken romanticcy out of this as well. I've not included that at all because romanticcy focused on romance and then fantasy is all about the fantasy kind of element of it. And then there's romance kind of elements in it.
