Hook
I've officially made over $100,000 from brand deals so far this year as a micro creator!!! And I've worked with over 50 brands so far this year. So I feel like I have a pretty good idea on what exactly brands and agencies are looking for when they're sourcing creators. So let's get into it. If you are not marketing yourself, if you're not building your personal brand, you're gonna be posting video right the heck now. Anyone that's sourcing creators, clicks on your account, they need to be able to tell within the first five seconds or less why they're on your profile, why they would follow you, what the brand fit into your content and just your overall niche. By no means is a niche meant to limit you, it's meant to help you succeed in the area that you want. For example, if you want to be a lifestyle creator, that's great. And when some clicks on your page, they need to be able to see what direction of lifestyle you're going in. Same goes for like if you want to work with a beauty brand. You want to make sure that when a beauty brand clicks on your account, they can clearly envision themselves in your content. Same with literally every single niche out there. You can have multiple niches, you just need to make each niche very visible in its own way. These brands and agencies also can tell when you're being consistent and when you're not. You need to be posting six out of the seven days of the week. Literally your job, you need to treat it as a job. One of the main things that they're also looking for is an engaged audience. How do you grow an engaged audience? You need to post engaging content. You need to spark a question in your content that leads people to want to comment on your video, stay active in the comment section. Your content quality also matters a lot more than you think. You need to wipe the lens every single time before you film. And that actually sounds kind of self-explanatory, but a lot of people don't do it. And you'll be able to tell. Brands aesthetic also play a huge role. Not saying that your content has to be modern and perfect and squeaky clean, but when you film, you have to film it in a way that's very appealing for brands to watch. At the end of the day, you're going to be showcasing their product in some way, shape or form. But once you get the eye of like what brands are looking for, it's literally like riding a bike, like you'll literally forever do it. Bye.
