This is part 9 of my mango sticky rice series. And it looks like we found another contender. Today we're at Mekhun Delicacies in Katy, Texas. They have a current ranking of 8 out of 10. I ordered two of their mango sticky rices with coconut milk on the side. I like to do this so that I can see the consistency of the coconut milk. We're starting off with my rice test. I already like the way that the rice breaks apart here. And I can see the individual grains, which is a great sign. Mangoes here are ripe but not overly ripe. They're soft and buttery. I like the way they coconut milk tastes. It has a soft and thick texture. It's sweet, but it also has a saltiness to it as well. I thought it was perfectly done. The only thing holding this back from a higher score is the amount of rice that I got. Overall though, I'm gonna have to give this a 9.7 out of 10, putting this at second place. Really delicious dish. I'll be reviewing their food next post. Like and follow me for more.
