So this is an original painting at Value Village. So with this painting is, it kind of just feels like a first layer. This is a great start to a painting. I'm going to finish it. I'm super excited. Here we go. My new thing is using this yellow paint marker to plan out what I'm going to do. First thing is raising the horizon and then I added to the rocks using this reference image. It's always really helpful to draw using a reference image. It just makes everything look more real and less just like a symbol. The sky was red in the original, so it's gonna stay red. We're gonna go for a surrealist look, but I'm also gonna fold in elements from Turner's paintings. He does super tumultuous, crazy sea scapes. I find water the hardest thing to paint, so there's definitely gonna be a learning curve, like this foam. This foam is not working. This is where we are now in the transformation for the next part. I'm going to be finishing the rocks and adding more foam. Thanks so much for watching and stay tuned for part two.
