This is my avoid the middle seat hack, so listen up. This is a good one. Did you know for budget airlines, if you click that you want a randomly allocated seat, they'll actually put you in the middle seat so you'll pay more to get out of it. But I'm not going to pay nine bucks for a freaking window seat. The flight I'm checking into still has a bunch of middle seats. So here's how I avoid them. When I checked in, I saw there was 10 middle seats still available. So I go on the website and pretend I'm going to buy all 10. It's going to ask for every customer's name, so just hype random letters and keep going. And then go to the seat selection and select all those middle seats, or whichever seat you don't wanna sit in. Click Continue. So when you do this, the system's going to hold those seats for about 10 to 15 minutes. And that's when you need to book your real seat. When you check in with your actual ticket, you'll see now there are no middle seats available. So click the random allocation seat button and skip all the scams on the website.
