Why it worked

The video taps into the popular "haul" or "finds" trend, specifically focusing on budget-friendly items from a well-known discount store. The creator's genuine excitement and the visual appeal of the colorful, character-themed products likely resonated with viewers looking for affordable self-care or novelty items.

Summary

The creator excitedly shows off a large haul of bath sponges and loofahs found at Dollar Tree. She highlights the variety of characters and textures available, emphasizing their low price point.

Structure

1Introduction and discovery of squishies at Dollar Tree
2Showing the large quantity and variety of basic bath sponges
3Revealing character-themed bath sponges (Smurf, TMNT, Paw Patrol)
4Expressing excitement over the price and quantity
5Concluding with the joy of getting many items

Product placement

Dollar Tree: ACTS - a store where the creator shops for items. Removing it would change the video's setting and context. The video is about finding items at this store. The store itself is not being promoted, but the items found there are. The items are bath sponges/loofahs.
