I just bought a $643.40 plane ticket to tour 8 different apartments in a state I have never been to. At 17 years old, I moved across the country away from my mom, brothers, and majority of my family to live with my dad until I decided to move out at 19 with no real plan and three jobs. I knew there was no way I could afford my own apartment in one of the most expensive states in the country. So I rented a room for $750 a month and I still live there today. But a lot has changed since then. Creating content has completely changed my life, my income, and what I see for myself. So in a few days, I'm getting on a plane to tour apartments in hopes to find my first real apartment at 20 years old. And of course, you're coming with me.
