This is everything that you need to do before GCSE results day. I know that is stressful, but hear me out. This is everything that you are going to do to prepare, reduce your nerves and make sure the day goes smoothly. First things first, establish your boundaries. Where are you opening your results? I am not the type of person that likes opening my results in front of people, and other people are just gonna have to deal with that. On my GCSE results day, I literally picked up the letter, walked into the corner of the room and opened them by myself. You are the one that did the exams, you are the one that put in the hard work. Maybe you do want to open them on camera or in front of your parents or your friends. Secondly, have two plans. One, things go the way that you intended. Things go well, you're happy with your results, or you're content. The other, maybe things didn't necessarily go your way. The reason I say to have two plans is that if you did well and you're happy with your results, you'll probably want to go out with your friends. Maybe you might want to go on a nice long walk with your dog. Just have a plan and it can give you some peace of mind. Next up, when I say plan something fun, make use of those free food deals. I posted a video on all the free food that you can get on GCSE results day. So why not? The food is literally free. And finally, make sure you do have a backup option. Let's say your six form requires a seven in a specific GCSE, and you don't achieve that. You do need to reset my Maths and English if you don't pass them. You do need to reset. If you don't achieve that, then what is your plan? Or you're going to speak to the six form, they might have flexibility. If you don't achieve that, do you need to change subjects? What would that look like? Doing a different level, just make sure you know all of these things before results day because they will give you peace of mind.
