sixth form packing list this is sixth form packing list this is what you need to you need to buy this this and this and this stop this is what you actually need for sixth form this is what you actually need to take to if you want to succeed my name tilly I got five A*A*A*A*A* I got five A stars in my A levels or if it I got 4 stars and an A star in my EPQ and if you know me in real life you will know that I hate buying things that I do not need and yes this extends to school supplies do not listen do not listen to the propaganda on the internet these are the things that you will actually need first things you just you just need loads you just need loads and loads of refill 1. Refill pads you need those A4 refill pads because 6th form is not like school you won't have exercise books or if you you're gonna fill a lot of them up your own refill pads critically you need to be able to store your sheets effectively now this is organization I hate spending my time organizing sheets of paper I used to basically have one folder in my bag that was split up into sections so for my four subjects and I would put the papers in those and just organise them at the end of the week. so I recommend having one folder to just keep the things in your so you're not going home every day and filing notes make sure that you're not losing your classwork and your homework 3. Plastic wallets plastic wallets get them do not scrimp on plastic wallets make sure that you get good ones and make sure that you get the ones that are already hole punched to put in ring 4. Ring binders you need you need a ring binder for every subject and I recommend you so 6 or 8 depending on whether you do three or four subject and make sure you have one for each year of study and make sure that within these ring binders you are keeping track of what's in each plastic wallet and get the fat ring binders don't get the little ones get the biggest ones you can find because because you are gonna have a lot of work and you don't want to have 5 ring binders of information for A level maths you don't need that get loads and loads of ballpoint pens 5. Pens you are gonna do so much writing over the next two years and no I don't have any pen recommendations I literally just use black ballpoint pen what you do need are 6. Highlighters oh my goodness get highlighters they will be helpful for any subject at whether you're doing humanities you constantly find yourself needing a highlighter and get multiple different colours and finally I highly recommend you get flashcards and do not scrimp on the flashcards you will need so many flashcards if you prefer making digital flashcards that's great make digital flashcards if you can I would recommend 7. 2 in 1 Laptop if you can I would recommend getting a tablet or a 2 in 1 laptop I found that was really helpful when I got to university however when I was at sixth form I didn't have that luxury I didn't have an iPad or anything if you like this video and you want to see more daily A level tips be sure to follow
