I feel like a lot of you know my money story, but maybe you don’t actually know me 😂 So hi, I’m Nicole 👋🏻 I left home at 16, got my GED, somehow ended up getting a commerce degree, and spent most of my 20s being wildly convinced I could build a life that looked nothing like the one I started with. Before I ever built a business on the internet, I spent 6 years as a real estate broker. I was obsessed with money, investing and figuring out how to actually get ahead financially long before anyone was following me for it. I paid off $40K of debt, made my first $100K by 25, started investing, became a millionaire at 30 and eventually built an eight-figure net worth. Then somehow that obsession turned into a career 😂 I built a financial education company, wrote a book, taught thousands of women how to make and invest their money, and built a community of millions of people online. But that’s the résumé version of me. The actual me? I’ve been with my husband since I was a teenager, and now we have two little boys who are simultaneously my favourite people on earth and the reason I haven’t had a complete thought in approximately 7 years 😂 I’m a massive homebody who also constantly wants to travel. I love nice hotels, beautiful houses, lifting weights, getting dressed up with nowhere particularly important to go, and researching a purchase so extensively you’d think I was preparing a dissertation. I’m extremely Type A. I ask approximately 900 questions before making a decision. I have very strong opinions. I overthink the tiny things and then somehow make the biggest life decisions with an alarming amount of “eh, I’ll figure it out” energy. I’m a Scorpio, slightly spicy, deeply sarcastic, and have never once been accused of not having an opinion 😂 I also have ADHD, CPTSD and Crohn’s disease. My brain is usually running approximately 47 tabs at once 😂 I’ve had seasons where my health has completely knocked me on my ass, and there are parts of my life that have been a lot messier than what you see in a 60-second video on the internet. And I think that’s part of why I care so much about women having their own money. Because life doesn’t always go according to plan. Money can’t protect you from hard things happening, but it can give you choices when they do. You get options. You get to leave things that aren’t right for you. You get to say yes because you want to, not because you have to. You get to build a life that actually feels like yours. And despite what the internet version of me might suggest, I absolutely do not have everything figured out 😂 I’m just very good at deciding I’m going to do something before I have any evidence that I can actually pull it off. So when you ask where the confidence came from? Delusion. An absolutely unreasonable amount of delusion. 😂 Anyway, hi. Now you know a little more than my net worth 🤍
