Hello. Here are some things I've learned about making your wildest, most ambitious dreams come true. My credentials are that I started a company when I was 20 with no experience, no money, no safety net, just pure delusion I guess. And within five years, it had grown into a global company working with some of the biggest brands in the world. That allowed me to build and live my dream life that I grew up thinking was completely out of reach. So here are some things I live by. Number one is that audacity matters more than talent. And I say audacity, but really I mean having the boldness to put yourself out there and your ideas out there without being asked to. Just doing that again and again because as they say, closed mouths don't get fed. Number two is that in order to take action towards your dreams again and again, you need a level of self-belief that at the start is going to be almost delusional. You need to build the self-belief that you need before you have the external evidence that you're capable. You need to just blindly convince yourself that you are somehow always going to figure it out as you go. It's like self-belief that you just generate based on nothing at the start. Number three is the importance of having high agency. The people who stand out are those who prioritize imperfect action over perfect inaction. Perfectionism and overthinking just hold you back and interrupt your momentum. This is about building the skill of taking small steps towards what you want even when you don't feel ready, even when it's scary. Number four is that as long as you keep showing up, the outcome has no choice. And I love this. This is a value I live by. It basically means that perseverance is a skill and if I really want something, I am working on it until it has no choice but to work. Like extreme perseverance when it comes to your dreams. And finally, number five is that you have to get to know yourself really, really well. You need to do the inner work of getting to know yourself so well and building that internal validation over external. What people tell you you should want doesn't matter. You need to spend a lot of conscious time in your own head journaling, exploring, figuring out exactly what you want out of your life and developing that clarity and certainty. Let me know if you want more.
