The people have been asking for the tutorial and of course I'm here to deliver. Let's hop right into it. Starting off with the first take down of my braids. I already knew what look I wanted to go for so of course my reliable app Pinterest came through for your girl. And I'm like you know what let's do it. Let's just dive in. Can you believe this time around last year I was completely bald? My hair is growing back beautifully, very healthy, and I want to keep it that way. So these are some of the products that I'm going to be using to achieve this look. The brand of these products will be tagged in the caption in case you see something that you want to try. Of course I had to whip out the holy grail Clairol BW2 Plus. Never fails me, never steers me wrong. Y'all know I've been through so much with my hair. Literally was just a waiver a couple years ago. So going for this look was right up my alley, but it had been so long since I've experimented, y'all. Working in corporate I can only have black or blonde hair, so boo. I'm super excited to be tapping into something new. Even though I have no idea how this finna come out, I'm just trusting in God. And of course my expertise and creative skills. Nah, I ain't no professional hairstylist or nothing like that. I just got a few years of experience in the game now. Doing my own hair in the house. I'm showing y'all the inspo and I was so scared to take that towel off. I'm like, yo, I don't know what this finna look like, child. Now clearly this is nothing like the picture that I showed y'all. It took me a second to really digest it and I really had to think about it. Just a few months ago I put some black in my hair, so that's why I got that reddish color right there. I ended up finding another picture on Pinterest that it was closer to. I'm like, you know what, this could probably be cute. I don't know. Let's see. Anytime you bleach your hair you want to make sure that you're tripling down on the moisturizer and the leave-in conditioner and the oils and all of the good things. Now the one thing that I don't know about my hair is the hair texture that I have, like what the number and the letter is. So if you were a professional hairstylist and you have an idea, let me know in the comments. I added in that curl cream, went ahead and brushed it out thoroughly. Y'all see the length? In just two years it went from being completely bald to a short cut and now curls for the girl. I went and used my blow dryer just to speed up the process because I was dying to see what the curls going to give, baby, and this is what it was giving. I ain't going to lie, I messed with it.
