Good morning Leaving the cave will cost you people Do it anyway Let's talk about it The hardest part of breaking generational cycle, generational curse, generational poverty, is that the people that you're doing it for will make you feel like you're doing something wrong You stop drinking, you stop yelling, you stop participating in anything that destroyed everyone before you, and yet somehow you are the Yet somehow you are the bad person pariah, you're ostracized for trying to do better for your family In lieu of pride, of congratulations, you get silence You get mistreatment It's not their fault either Here's why they do it 2,000 years ago, Plato wrote the allegory of the cave to explain this to us in a way that would make us understand generational curse and generational poverty when you try to leave, you will be punished for it In the cave, there was a family in there, they had never seen the sun Their hands were tied down It was they thought their hands were chained down to the gates inside this cave And then one day, one of them, a girl, she gets up She looks at her hand and she goes, these chains are not tied too heavily I can take them off So she wiggles and she gets the chains off and she goes outside and she looks And when she gets outside, she sees the sun, the beautiful flowers, the trees She sees everything that we take for granted And she gets so happy, she's jumping up and down But she made a grave mistake She said to herself, I'm going to go back to the cave and go tell everyone in the cave that life is beautiful out there When she went back to the cave, of course, because her eyes could not adjust to the darkness, she stumbles She's trying to get up And guess what her family did They pointed, they laughed, they mocked her They said, look at her, she's crazy She's insane That's what happens when you try to go out there Look at her, they kicked her, they yelled at her Our family, is they're not the enemy They just haven't seen the sun And your healing is the sun they're not ready for A lot of times when we break generational curse, generational poverty, we think to ourselves, I'm going to go back to the cave and go enlighten everybody You cannot do that The only thing you can do is shine so bright Your light shines so bright that it illuminates the cave You can look backward and shine your light, but you don't go back to the cave And if you're ethnic, we all know the psychological phenomenon called the crab mentality You put a bunch of crabs in a bucket, not one will escape Not one It's never happened You know why? Because as one tries to escape, the other ones will pull it down Neuroscience succinctly explains this When someone in your social circle, in your inner circle, leaves the cave, gets out of the buckets, was able to leave, it threatens the social hierarchy It signals the same exact fear as physical danger It's the same exact pain Here's how to leave the cave and never go back Number one, do not announce your healing A lot of us do that my God, look at what I'm doing Do not argue with your shadows, do not argue with the past Heal, be bright Simply cannot convince people that the sun exists when they've never left the dark, they've never left the grieve for the virgin of you that left Grieve for them but don't go back to the cave, whatever you do Don't go back to the buckets, whatever you do And when the grief comes, and it will come It's inevitable Remember, you're not abandoning them You are simply the ancestor they needed It ends with you If this resonates with you, I'll see you in my master class, August 23rd, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time How to break the generation of curse, poverty, trauma, One, we're going to do it together 75 minutes I'll see you there I believe in you, and I pray you believe in yourself And get this water, it's really easy to make Collagen, cucumber, and lemon It's great for weight loss and fabulous skin I'll see you in my master class, okay?
