calling all my fellow stationery addicts and planner pals. Okay, that was cheesy. However, I desperately need your advice. I just made a video about what isn't working in my journal ecosystem and loosely mentioned that I might be walking away from the Hobonichi weeks in 2027, which I know, gasp, that's crazy. Who am I? And I love this thing. It has actually nothing to do with the weeks itself. I am low-key high-key thinking about putting an agenda in a planner. In my Paper Republic. Now, there is a big part of me that is devastated, not to be dramatic, about walking away from the Hobonichi weeks. I love that thing so much. However, I'm feeling this call, this pull to downsize slightly and only have two real systems at a time. So that is option one. The Sterling Ink planner that they make in pocket size or whatever the Sterling Ink planner that they make in pocket size. That's option one. Option two is the weekly or undated Paper Republic insert, whether that's the weekly or the undated. I low-key love the idea of an undated. In the instance I miss a few weeks, then there's no harm, no foul. I don't like having empty pages, but sometimes life happens and we do have empty pages. So that is option two. Option three is actually going back to my roots and putting a pocket size moleskin planner in here. I used to use these years and years ago. They're kind of no fuss, no fuss, but really do get the job done. It's a gorgeous planner. So that is my third option. And then my fourth is I am seeing, you know, I have been digging into pocket eco systems. I have been digging into Hobonichi does a weekly planner. That's a pocket size and I believe a vertical format, which I've never tried before. So that could be interesting. So I would really, really appreciate your thoughts on this matter. Please feel free to convince me otherwise because I do love this thing. The paper, the size, everything about it. The plastic cover, my girlfriend and I were just like, oohing and aahing over just like the feel of a week. It's so special, but might be more efficient for me to just have everything in my paper republic. I know, I know. I'm not exaggerating when I say this idea and decision has been ruminating in my mind for weeks at this point. I think because I'm so sad to leave behind the Hobonichi weeks, if I do decide to do that, but feel free to convince me otherwise because I do love this thing. The paper, the size, everything about it. The plastic cover, my girlfriend and I were just like, oohing and aahing over just like the feel of a week.
