Hot off the press, hot off the press. We are all dreaming and scheming about our journal ecosystem for next year. And in doing that, I've taken a really hard look at my various systems, setups, journals, planners that I've been using for this year and wanted to share with you all what isn't working in my journal ecosystem. So, slight tale between my legs for this one. This is my Hobonichi 5-year and this frankly just isn't working for me. I think it's not working for me for a variety of reasons. First things first, I'll just admit where I went wrong. I think I just bit off more than I can chew between my weeks, between my paper republic, between my Louis Vuitton, I'm doing daily morning pages. This began to feel like a chore. And if I'm so honest with you, I think I fell off of this in mid-March. Yeah. This is gonna go. The other thing I noticed when I was rewatching some of my old content from earlier this year, and I noticed that I accidentally got the A6 size and I really wanted the A5. I think if I had gotten the A5, I probably would have had a better experience with this. This is pretty thick and it's not the most enjoyable writing experience in this, especially like early on in the year. And I think that was also a deterrent. I wanted to make this really decorated and pretty and truly be memory keeping, but I think that's kind of happening in other places. So this isn't going to find its way into next year. Which I am so sad about. Next on the docket, and no, it is not my Louis Vuitton, my Hobonichi A5. And while it does work and it does close, they're just, it's chunky and they're losing some of that overlapping of the leather. I love this Hobonichi notebook. If they ever came out with an A5 slim, I would be all over that. The last thing on my list, which is very surprising, even to me, is the Kaweco Student pen. Now I've raved about Kaweco Sport, they are by far my favorite fountain pen. I have two and could see myself getting more. I really want to try the fountain pen rollerball sport. But this student pen is not working for me. This pen is quite heavy and I don't really like writing with it, especially when posted. So I find myself really only writing with this pen with the cap off. And I also find that the extra fine nib is super, super fine. And my Kaweco Sport are both extra fine and I love them. They're perfect. But this one is very, very fine, dainty and a little scratchy in my opinion. So unfortunately, this one is not going to be making its way into 2027. All of the things that I found are just not working for me and my journaling practice and things that I will not be taking with me into the new year. I'm super curious to hear from all of you, what did you try and implement this year that also isn't working for you and what are you looking to add to your ecosystem for next? So more videos on the journaling front coming. But until then, I'll talk to you all soon. Bye.
