Now if there’s one wall in our house that I absolutely love, it’s this one 😍🌍✈️ Our wooden world map was one of my Etsy finds, and honestly, it’s such an eye-catcher when you walk into our home. We get so many compliments on it! Each country comes with its own little flag, and when we were putting them up, I realised I knew more than 3/4 of the flags without even looking them up 😂 If that doesn’t show my addiction to travel and anything travel-related, I don’t know what does! One of my favourite little touches is the gold planes ✈️ Every time we travel somewhere new, I add another plane to the map, so it’s slowly becoming a visual reminder of all the places we’ve been. Originally, I had this whole idea of running red string from each plane to a photo from that destination… but once I started putting everything together, I changed my mind. I felt like it would make the wall way too busy and take away from how beautiful the wooden map actually is. Surrounding it are some of our favourite travel memories 📸🌎 Most are professional photos from photoshoots we’ve done around the world, mixed in with a few special ones we’ve taken ourselves. So really, this whole wall is like our little travel story displayed in our home. 🥰 Every plane and every photo has a memory behind it, which is probably why I love this wall so much.
