You can look good and smell good, but if your breath still stinks, none of that matters. So listen up. First, change your toothbrush head. If the bristles are looking a little crazy, going in every direction, bro, it's time for you to get a new one. I usually switch mine about every three months. There's a very big difference when you change them. Now, before I brush, I floss, and I already know some of y'all are about to argue with me about this. I use floss picks because they're quick and easy. Then I follow up with a water floss to get around my gums and anything I might have missed. Then I go in with an electric toothbrush. You don't gotta scrub your teeth like you're cleaning the kitchen floor. Let the toothbrush do the work. Make sure you hit every section for a full two minutes. Tongue scrape. A lot of people skip this part, and you'll be surprised how much buildup sits back there. Sometimes your teeth ain't even the reason your breath doesn't stay fresh, it's your tongue. Then I'll go in with some alcohol-free mouthwash to freshen everything up. Whitening strips. I don't use these every day, but every now and then, they definitely make a difference. Last thing you want to do is keep your toothbrush clean. Rinse it off, let it dry. And if you use a toothbrush cover, make sure it's ventilated. Because brushing your teeth is important, but if that's all you're doing, it might be time to upgrade the routine for your life. Wait, I'll let that's not the last thing. Make sure you brush twice and drink as much water as possible. More life out.
