Here’s an update on our vintage store coming into Great Lakes Crossing. We spent the first few days cleaning, wiping all these shelves down. I mean, there was just so many shelves we had to get through and put in the back room that definitely took a few hours. And then after that, we started unpacking that. That would fit nicely for our little sitting area in the back. Started working on repairing any wall scuffs and marks that needed to be filled and sanded and then painted. We then got our amplifier, getting it connected to the speaker system so we could play music in the store. I eventually decided to remove these top two layers of shelves as you can't really shop them and I think it just lights up the store and looks a lot better. I also adjusted some of the spotlights and pointed them towards the walls to lighten up the space. I thrifted this trunk, which I thought would look good as a tiered sort of shelf display. I got the tables from my girlfriend and my buddy Nick brought these benches. I had to bring a bunch of hangers from the old Oakland Mall store and started putting clothes out. Kind of just wanted to see how things would look as we started getting closer to opening. We had Dream Cruise last weekend, so we've just been super busy, but I'm trying to get some content out there to show you guys the updates as we move forward. We should be opening very soon, so just stay tuned and we'll keep you posted.
