Hook
I tried to make this soap look like a realistic slice of watermelon. I'm kind of getting into the last hurrah of my summer soaps and I wanted to make one more batch of my watermelon before the season is over. This is always one of my best sellers in the summertime and I used my favorite watermelon scent of all time. That's called watermelon sugar. It has notes of watermelon, honeydew, mandarin, strawberry, and lily of the valley. There are also bottom notes of amber and violet, which adds some depth and sophistication. I love this fragrance. It smells like a watermelon candy mixed with really fresh, bright watermelon. I started with the rind layer on the bottom, which is a swirl between a brighter, lighter green and more of a deep, medium green. I added a white pencil line between the two layers to represent that lightest part of the rind. And then I added my swirled fruit layer on top. Infused with poppy seeds to make it scrubby.
