I recently stumbled across one of the most unique thrift stores I’ve been to in Portland, and I genuinely had no idea it existed. Vibe Art Space is a nonprofit thrift store and community space in the Woodstock neighborhood that’s only been open for about a year. The second I walked inside, I realized this was NOT the kind of thrift store you can quickly browse. 😂 This place is absolutely packed from floor to ceiling. There are clothes, books, vintage pieces, art, home decor, collectibles, jewelry, and so many random little treasures tucked into every corner. My video barely scratches the surface of what was actually inside. But the coolest part is the mission behind it. Vibe Art Space supports people experiencing homelessness and addiction in Portland by providing a safe, sober community space, distributing necessities like clothing and hygiene supplies, hosting art workshops and recovery gatherings, and helping connect people with housing, medical care, addiction recovery services, and other resources. They also display work from local artists and host community events. And their pricing system is unlike any thrift store I’ve been to. They use sliding-scale pricing, so instead of everything having a set price, they ask what you’d like to pay. If you make them a reasonable offer, they’ll take it. It makes thrifting more accessible while also helping support their nonprofit work. This is definitely one of those Portland spots where you could spend HOURS digging around and still not see everything. 📍 Vibe Art Space 5627 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97206 HOURS: Monday: 9 AM–8 PM Tuesday: 9 AM–8 PM Wednesday: 9 AM–8 PM Thursday: 9 AM–8 PM Friday: 9 AM–8 PM Saturday: 9 AM–8 PM Sunday: 10 AM–7 PM #PortlandThrift #PortlandOregon #PDXThrift #PortlandVintage #ThingsToDoInPortland Portland thrift stores, Portland thrifting, Vibe Art Space, Woodstock Portland, Portland nonprofit, Portland vintage, unique Portland shops, Portland hidden gems, affordable thrift stores, things to do in Portland
