Well, turns out they're the exact same person. See, Game Science just dropped 15 full minutes of gameplay. And lore wise, the human you play as is Zhong Kui before his final form. The massive guy riding the tiger is just his fully realized deity form. You're literally playing his journey from human exorcist to the ultimate king of ghosts. And honestly, Chinese devs really know how to impress players right now. Right after Wukong, I thought, but this looks absurdly good. The combat, visuals, boss designs, it's so smooth it almost feels too good to be true. I love how these studios operate. Now look at Phantom Blade Zero, Tides of Annihilation, and now this. They just dropped 15 minutes of raw gameplay right out of the gate. And to play it safely, they did put a note at the end saying it's still early development and things might change, but if this is just a work in progress build, we are in for something insane.
