3 red flags when booking in a wet belt job. When booking your van in for a wet belt job. Number one, they are cheap as chips to do this job correctly using genuine parts like you should. It isn't a cheap job to pay. Cheap, pay twice. Just get it done properly the first time. No. 2. Always ask what's included in your job. If they're telling you just a cover, it isn't a good, a proper job, not worth doing. As a minimum, our packages include the belt kit and tensioner, new cover, new sump, water pump, idler bolt, crank pulley bolt, oil pump belt, oil strainer, oil, a bare minimum. Literally just putting the cover on. You get major. We've seen it this week. The job's got to be done again. Make sure you're a garage that knows with these belts. Number 3. They don't specialise in them. You're using Fred in his shed that does a bit of everything and he'll have a go at it. Again, time and time. They don't know what they're doing. It's a specialist job. We do these day in, day out. We're booked up with them. Make sure you're using a specialist. They're doing, they're using genuine parts and you're getting a proper job done. And tips like everyday.
