While using the Fold 8 as a charging pad, now you can. If yours isn't working, then just make sure you head into settings under advanced features, multi window, and toggle on swipe for split screen. Swipe for pop-up view. Show app handles in full screen view. Show app handles in split screen view. Full screen in split screen view. That's it. And while you're there, hidden to motion and gestures. And also turn on palm touch to turn off screen. Same with mute incoming calls and alarms. Because now you can cover the entire screen with gesture and your hand to quickly turn it off. Or if you ever get a call and don't want to answer it, you can do the same gesture and it'll mute the call. Nice. There's also the tap and drag gesture to open apps into split screen directly from the task bar. And you can place the apps anywhere on the screen, which is pretty handy. And you see this brand new handle here? You'll actually find this at the top of every app now. And if you grab it, then drag it, you can rearrange your split screens as you can see in a couple different combinations. Or if you've got a single app open, you can use the handle to quickly drag it into a pop-up window. Or once again, a split screen. Cool. There's even more multi-tasking tricks you can do, but first I gotta show you how to do this. So to customize your unlock animation, you'll need to get the Samsung Good Lock app from the Play Store. Once you open it up, head into Lock Star and tap this little button at the bottom. Then unlock animation. Now, just turn this on and you can pick from one of these really cool animation styles, like spread for example. You can customize its shape, its color and animation time. And the next time you unlock your phone, it'll look something like this. So smooth. And in the gallery, there are some insane new features. Starting with photos where if you tap on this little star icon to the right hand side, you'll see this text icon. And if you tap it, it opens up this text box. Now you just type in anything like add suits to everyone. And boom, the Fold 8 will literally edit that pic and add in just about anything you want, like that. That does a pretty good job. And you can even carry on editing that picture to really push it to the limits. Okay, but then with videos, you can do this too. And here's how. All you do, back inside Good Lock, is tap the Home Up module. Once in here, open up screen and make sure to turn this on as well as DIY lock screen. And that is literally it. Now just tap and hold on your home screen, click the DIY button and you can customize the heck out of your app icons. You can move them to any, anywhere on the screen, resize them and even rotate them. So I just placed my apps like this and curves at the edge of the screen because it just makes opening them so much easier using only my thumbs. I love this. And then for the cherry on top, inside the lock screen settings, if you select the clock and you might not have known, you can choose from different fonts. Now automatically resize around the subject in your wallpaper. Even if your subject is just a mountain. And if you combine those three changes, your Fold 8 should look way more snazzy. Cool. But wait until you see what you can do with the gallery. Now in the gallery, there are some insane new features.
