I genuinely won the job lottery in Australia. Most people that move to Australia end up working in hospitality, but honestly, there are way better job options than that. I think I had the best job ever. I worked at a doggy daycare. In the morning, people would drop their dogs off with me for the day. I would get to cuddle their dogs while they're at work. Obviously, I did have to pick up their poop, but I would way rather do that than work in hospitality job where people are complaining, "Oh, my food's too cold." Shut up. Literally, I cannot be dealing with that. So if you want to work a fun, enjoyable job on your working holiday visa, then I'm definitely happy to share the details of how I landed this job.
