I didn’t just have to rebuild my life. I had to rebuild the way I saw myself. 🤍 I had to unlearn people-pleasing. Unlearn needing everyone’s approval. Unlearn thinking motherhood meant losing myself. Unlearn believing that starting over meant I had failed. And unlearn the idea that I needed someone else to choose me for me to feel worthy. But honestly, I couldn’t have unlearned any of this on my own. Allah held me through the days I thought I couldn’t handle. He gave me strength when I had none left, clarity when I was confused, and a new perspective when I couldn’t understand why my life had turned out this way. Being a single mom didn’t make me stronger overnight. It was Allah who taught me strength—one lesson, one dua, one difficult day at a time. I’m still learning. Still healing. Still figuring things out. But today, I know this: I didn’t rebuild my life alone. Allah was rebuilding me while I thought I was simply surviving. 🤍 And maybe that’s the biggest thing I had to unlearn— thinking that my story was over just because one chapter ended. Sometimes Allah closes a chapter because He knows there is a version of you waiting on the other side that you haven’t met yet. ✨
