Maybe independence was never supposed to mean doing everything alone. 🤍 For the longest time, I thought accepting help somehow made my independence less valid. It didn’t. Sometimes the people Allah places around you are part of the answer to the help you’ve been asking Him for. My mother’s support didn’t make me dependent.
It gave me the time and space to become independent. So if someone genuinely wants to stand beside you while you rebuild, let them. You still did the work.
You still built the life.
You just didn’t have to carry every part of it alone. Lesson 2 of 32. 🤍
