creek tour

Many people are now familiar with the magical pond that sits on our property. Today I want to show you the creek that feeds into it. I've got my tall boots on to protect from snakes and ticks, among other things. Here's the garden, the pond over there. We're going to take a little walk this way. I started collecting rocks for this little path. Here's a nice view of the creek and the pond. This definitely needs to be worked on. I often slip here. A deer. Oh my gosh, I scared it. Did you guys see the baby? Love all the growth on these big rocks. Sometimes you can see crawfish in here. It hasn't rained in a few days, but when it does, the water flows a lot more than it is right now. As you can see, this is a fallen tree, but I kind of love the way that it looks. There's a little cave right here. It is so peaceful out here. There's our house up there. A frog. That was scary. Deer. Thanks for watching <3
