Sending TikTok's is basically how half of friendships are maintained now. It's the modern day check-in. You check in with your friend like you usually would, but through a TikTok video. You're sending them a video and you're making sure that they're okay. Obviously, you're still going to talk to them, you'll still occasionally text or call if you're absolutely crazy. You're still gonna hang out, you'll still see each other, even if your cities are apart, you'll still make it work. But sending TikToks, that's what happens in between. That's what maintains the friendship. And that's how you know that your friend is doing okay. How many videos are they sending you a day? If they normally send you a ton, and they start sending you a few, you know something's going on, you better check in on them. And if they always send you a bunch when they're super stressed out because now they're just doom scrolling nonstop, you also know they have a problem and you need to reach out. But honestly, if you think about it, if you're not sending your friend TikToks, they're probably not one of your good friends. Like if you look at your list of a couple people, maybe you have a few, maybe you have a lot that you're sending TikToks to. Those are probably your day ones. Those are your real friends. And you probably still actually hang out with them, but you're maintaining that friendship and proving it by sending them curated videos that you care about.
