finally visited uchi’s new cafe in angel!! been a big fan of uchi in east london ever since it opened and it’s sooo good that they’re closer to me now!! the interiors and vibes look very similar to the one in hackney, though the angel branch is smaller with fewer tables. we got: - tamago mayo sandwich - chicken teriyaki sandwich - french toast with matcha ice cream - hojicha latte - melon soda my fav would be the french toast, which was really fluffy and custardy, and the melon soda tasted really authentic. as for the sandwiches, the shokupan had a really nice texture and thickness, but i’d love it even more if it were toasted…! and finally, i found the hojicha a little bit bland..! we went on a weekday afternoon and surprisingly it was pretty quiet, so we ended up doing some work there too!! a new japanese addition to camden passage!! #uchibake #londonjapanese #londoncafe #londonmatcha #camdenpassage
