newest viet food in covent garden!

so glad to have this authentic vietnamese restaurant in london!! i’ve been a fan of co thanh in hong kong, so when i heard they were expanding to london i was super excited!! finally visited their covent garden store, very spacious with cool vietnamese interiors. we ordered: * signature bun bo hue - must order!! super flavourful beef & pork broth loaded with so many ingredients * bun thai with M5 wagyu - another noodle soup, this one seafood based, with plenty of prawns and squid * canh ga chien - beer battered fried chicken wings - SO huge with a very crunchy batter * goi cuon truyen thong - shrimp summer rolls - love that the rice paper is so thin * drinks: fresh coconut & lemongrass peach tea * dessert: kem chuoi - banana & coconut ice cream * dessert: che ba mau - three colour iced dessert - tasted as good as it looks! haven’t been able to find this anywhere else in london!!!! im a big fan of the thick type vermicelli so this really suited me, and they offer a lot of options you don’t get in many other places. i really love their taste and vibes! their prices are slightly higher than other viet food options, though that feels fair given how central they are. save this for your viet food craving! #cothanh #londonvietnamese #londonvietnamesefood #coventgardenfood #londonviet
