I just left Brandon Melville in Vancouver and I know that they closed the fitting rooms like across all the stores, globally. I've been in one in Toronto a month ago. And yeah, I have thoughts about that obviously, but it was fine. If I like wasn't sure if something was going to fit me, I just slipped it over my top, which everyone was doing in the store. Okay, fast forward, we go into the Brandon and Vancouver and And I had like a zip up sweater. And I'm obviously not like a size 246. And we all know that their sizes are one fit all. Uh which isn't actually true. But sometimes I do fit into their stuff. It really just depends on the cut. So I go to put on like a zip up hoodie. And this comes out to me and goes, sorry you can't try on clothes. I was like, I can't try on a zip up sweater. And he was like, no, cuz we don't have fitting room. I'm like, yeah, I know. But I just want to try on the sweater to see if it even is going to fit me. Like some stuff is made for little teenagers. And he was like, yeah, no. I was like that's crazy. So I asked one of the girls that's working there and she's like, yeah, like you can't try anything. I can't slip something on just to see if it fits. And obviously it's not these like 19 year old employees fault. They don't make the rules. But how that doesn't make sense? Like, I'm a size 10. I'm a size eight. I'm a size medium. I'm a size extra large. Unless you are a 15-year-old, and even not every 15-year-old is tiny and small in the same size. I just don't understand. I get the stench aspect of it. People are probably stealing left, right, and center, and they said that the reason they closed the fitting rooms, which I didn't care why they closed the fitting rooms. But they said it's because people were sticking thumb to the dressing room, like Okay, part that really bugged me, which usually didn't is that you can't get a ref. So you're essentially like stuck with the item. But yeah, I can bring your home and try it on and then get an exchange. But like the item I try it on. It's still going to be put back out on the floor. So I don't really understand I don't understand. And I just feel like it's actually insane to do right now when um like body positivity and just that it's obvious. Like we all are aware now in society that not everyone is the same size. They're not inclusive with their sizing. Their pants are not one size fits all. Probably can get it over like one toe if I wanted to. Um and like I wasn't obviously going to be a Karen, but it really pissed me off. that I couldn't even slip a tank top over. Like their little arms are sometimes cut so short that it cuts into the waistband, but then in other tops, it's fine. So I'm just like it's just not a a good shopping experience. So, I don't know, maybe I'm too old for Brandy Miller now, but do better.
