rules in America that Spain & Italy don't have

A lot of people were pressed that I didn't give any examples of the rules that my Spanish and Italian friends said America had a lot of, and to be fair, I think a lot of people made some good points in that video. Um, yeah, obviously you notice rules in other countries because you're used to the ones you have in your own country. And totally fair play, should have given an example. But come to think of it, one of my friends told me that I didn't even ask for an example. So I asked him today and what he said was the waiting in lines. Waiting in lines, you know, in Europe, they have you like take a ticket and then you wait in lines and he found that interesting that people just are expected to respect other people's place in line. And two, not selling alcohol to minors. And I know why he said that is because we went to Walmart to get a bottle of wine to make some risotto. And it was me and my friends, and one of us didn't have our ID on us. And he had to go all the way to the car to get his ID. And plus, like every bar we went into, they carded us and they were serious about alcohol. Um, and then the tipping. He found it interesting that, um, you know, the system doesn't work if you don't tip the servers. And then the fake positivity. He found it interesting that people were very nice to each other in public, and I'm not talking about just the general niceness and openness of Americans. I'm talking about people being, you know, fake positive, just to keep the situation, even if they don't like you. But I am interested to hear if anybody else has other rules that America has that Europe doesn't have or vice versa.
