Attention Calfresh EBT Cardholders & Low Income Households! If you're looking for EBT discounts, we have great news about free or low-cost cars and car repair organizations in your state. Now, before I get into that, everything I'm going to talk about is included in our 2024 EBT discount guide, which is over 100 pages of thousands of dollars in EBT discount savings that you can get. So check out our TikTok bio on instructions on how to download the guide. Now, let's get into these organizations. The first one is called Clean Vehicle Assistance Program. This provides affordable financing and grants to help low-income households in the state of California by hybrid vehicles or fuel cell vehicles. The goal is to make clean vehicles accessible to those who qualify. Now, to be able to qualify for this program, your income has to be below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. So for 2024, if you're a single person applying, that means your income has to be below $45,000 and for a family of four, that is $93,000. That is the income qualification. You can reach them at cleanvehiclegrants.org. The second organization is called Drive Forward by Peninsula Family Services. They provide affordable loans to individuals who are unable to get traditional financing to purchase used vehicles. They also provide financial education including credit counseling services to help you improve your credit and to be financially independent. So to reach them, go to peninsulafamily.org/our-programs/financial-empowerment/driveforward. The fourth organization is called Hot for Kids Drive Forward Program. They help low-income households in the Bay Area get free cars to work or to job interviews or to be able to get affordable transportation for other needs. They also give away cars and car maintenance services at a low cost or for free to those who qualify. So to reach them, go to hotforkids.org/drive-forward. The fifth organization is in San Diego. They are called Jewish Family Services. They have a program called the Hand Up Car Program.
