I thought I didn’t cancel all our autoships… 😭 Then I remembered it might be a PR package because I just went to a @Chewy event a couple weeks ago so I was ready to do an unboxing. Once I read the card… I remembered seeing videos of how Chewy often sends a gift to their customers who have lost their pet. What followed was a lot of tears and a huge wave of grief. I have been busy rehearsing (come see Spelling Bee at @The Cape Playhouse!) so I’ve been very distracted. Coming home is always hard and I’ve gotten used to the new normal - but seeing his face in any capacity still triggers me so much. I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since Mochi’s gone 🪽 Thank you Chewy for being so thoughtful. From the handwritten card to the hand drawn portrait to a hand decorated customised candle… I thank you from the bottom of my heart for seeing us pet parents.
