PART 10

Part 10 of crocheting a life-size baby giraffe for my son's nursery! I started off by making the snares and I just eyeballed everything in terms of proportions and hoped for the best. I then sewed the snout onto the giraffe's head and it really made such a difference. Next, I made the two ears. Again, I just kind of eyeballed the proportions and stopped when I thought the ears looked big enough. I then carefully sewed them onto the giraffe's head, and it's always so hard making sure everything looks symmetrical. And then finally, I made the giraffe's tail. A lot of you were worried that I forgot about the tail, but don't worry, it's there. And just like that, the giraffe is officially done and I'm so glad I was able to finish it before my son arrived. I absolutely love how it turned out and I'm so excited for him to see it. Stay tuned for all of the stats on the giraffe and seeing it in the nursery.
