NYX Buttermelt Blush

Why it worked

The video uses a common TikTok trend format of demonstrating a product's perceived extreme quality (high pigmentation) in a humorous and relatable way, showing the creator's initial over-application and subsequent correction.

Summary

The creator demonstrates the high pigmentation of the NYX Buttermelt Blush by applying it to their face. Initially, they apply too much, leading to a very intense color, but then they blend it out to show how a light hand can achieve a beautiful result.

Structure

1Introducing the blush and its rumored pigmentation
2Applying a seemingly small amount
3Realizing the amount is too much
4Attempting to blend out the intense color
5Showing the correct application with a light hand

Original caption

This blush might actually last me for eternity 😂 a LITTLE goes a long way, but it’s honestly one of my favorites. Saw this trend a little while ago and had to recreate it, so full credit to whoever originally created it! @NYX Professional Makeup Buttermelt Blush in Back and Butta #nyxcosmetics #buttermeltblush #drugstoremakeup #makeuphumor #makeup
