based on this text message to my roommates would u think i'm crazy
as far as boundaries go, here my suggestions/things to know about me, but ofc always open to being flexible and comprising so we're all comfortable:
people over/staying over
totally fine with me! ideally i'd like a heads up (even just like one min before) so i'm aware there's other ppl in the apartment
i have 8ams every day so will prob go to bed around 10 or 11 most nights but don't mind if there's people still around as long as it's not super loud
kitchen
having dirty dishes out of the sink by the end of the day, wiping down counters after cooking, and vacuuming at least once a week would be ideal for me
would be nice to rotate a deep clean at the end of each month (maybe we can have someone do it at the end of sep, another person at the end of oct, then someone else at the end of nov)
down to share dishes, appliances, and spices/cooking oils since i probably won't even go through a container on my own. i can buy some starter spices for us!
would prefer not to share other food
i'm okay with not having a set schedule for emptying the dishwasher or taking out the trash and just doing it as we notice it needs to be done
i don't have any allergies/dietary restrictions
i'll buy a big case of paper towels to start the semester from sams club or costco
bathroom
would be nice if we could clean toilet/shower/floors at least once a month (maybe we can have someone do it at the end of sep, another person at the end of oct, then someone else at the end of nov). i'll buy the clorox toilet wand with the disposable cleaning pads to make it easy
i normally shower every night and take about 10-20 minutes
would prefer to keep our shower stuff outside the shower since it's pretty small (maybe we can get some sort of shelf/cart for the bathroom to keep our stuff on)
same as for the kitchen, i'm good with not having a trash schedule and just taking it out when it's full
i'll buy a big case of toilet paper to start the semester from sams club or costco
other
please let me know asap if i do anything that bothers you (even if it seems small) or if you don't agree with any of the boundaries! i'd rather get everything out of the way sooner than let things fester, and i promise there won't be any hard feelings
i'm kind of a clean freak and super type a, but i will try my best to not impose it on you guys too much
