If I were to put all of these popular hair gels on trial, every last one of them would be guilty because we want a very strict program over here. So welcome to today's episode of Curl Cousins Court. Starting off with Cecred. Cecred is guilty of extortion, actually, cause $30 something dollars for a hair gel is a little bit insane in this economy. Now, is it a bad hair gel? Absolutely not. It's got strong hold, it's got high shine, it's got anti-frizz, anti-humidity, all those things. Now I do feel like I have to apply heat or wrap my hair under a scarf for it to really stay down. But otherwise, I just cannot justify repurchasing this for the qualities that it actually delivers and for the size that it is. Bananas is guilty of packaging malpractice because what is this? Why would y'all put this thick formula in this pump? Like you can't get nothing out. But all in all, it's extreme. It is the extreme gel. It's going to keep your hair in one place for days. Now I don't think it's as high shine as it promotes being, but otherwise, it is a good gel and the washing go girlies love her down. Bee Girl is guilty of leaving evidence because she's gonna flake on you every single time. And I feel like Bee Girl is one of those products, if you get it, you get it. And I just get it every time I try to use her, I get crazy flakes and my hair gets incredibly dry. I encourage everyone to try her out, but if it doesn't work, just be willing to go get your money back. My girl Misha is guilty of conspiracy against humidity. Before all the other anti-humidity products were on the market, Misha was there and she's still blowing a lot of those products out the water. And I love it still because even though it does flake a little bit, it's not bad, but just a little bit. It leaves your hair still so shiny and it gives you hold for days. Nothing's extreme. Extreme gel is guilty of operating without a license. Yeah, you know that one homegirl. And she's like an amazing hair dresser, but she's not a cosmetologist. You gotta go to her house and you gotta feed her baby when you're there. But she gives you an amazing quick weave install for like $60. That's extreme gel, extremely cheap, okay? Performs well. It has to have questionable, like I'm there's just no way that a $3 collar gel is beating out $20, $30 gels. But I don't really wanna know, honestly. I'll just stay in the dark on this one. Big Papa is guilty of false advertising because defining gel, popping curls, all this is not doing that for me, personally. Actually, Big Papa when I use it with mousse stuff, it actually dilutes the hold and the definition that I get from Misha, which is so frustrating cause I want to like her so bad. And I will say that when I use it for the occasional slick back, it does a great job of keeping it in place and making it very moisturized. But otherwise, I don't really touch Big Papa for real. Honey Dip is guilty of impersonation because she thinks she's a gel, she wants to be a gel, but she's a butter. I still love her. It's extremely moisturizing and I also love the pump bottle, which like bananas, like you need this. But all in all, I love using this with crazy sexy, like I said, extremely moisturizing and perfect for juicy define twist outs. And last but not least is our 808 base gel. She is guilty of identity fraud, honestly, because she thinks she's a gel, but in my book, she's a lot more of a leave-in conditioner. It has some extremely moisturizing qualities. It has aloe and marshmallow root and all this other stuff. And it gives your hair extreme shine and tons of extra volume in a beautiful way. But when you're talking about hold, it's no hold. It's a base gel for a reason cause you need to go on top with something with extra hold, for sure. So to summarize, if I need hair that don't move, I'm going for Bananas, Xtreme Gel or Miche. Now if I need something for a cute little slick back with high shine, I'm gonna go for Big Poppa or Cecred. And if I'm looking for a product with a lot of moisture and a side of hold, I'm going for the 808 base gel or the Honey Dip butter gel. So thank you ladies and gentlemen for coming to my trial today.
