Can we talk about the way Raul's hair actually flows in the wind? Watching it whip around with every turn of the car, tangled in his face. Man, the devs really cooked with this one. It seems Rockstar isn't using old school static hair meshes anymore. They built a custom strand based engine. So hair trip! So hair reacts in real time to vehicle speed, G-force turns, and air drag. And it isn't clipping through his shoulders. Strands drape naturally over collars and skin. Even better, jump in the water or sweat in the Vice City heat and the physics shift completely. Wet hair gets heavy, sticks to your forehead and dries dynamically. The crazy part? It ties into gameplay. Your hair and outfit tie directly into a brand new police HUD. When you commit a, the cops don't, the cops don't just magically track your soul like in GTA 5. The HUD shows, they have a physical description of you, what you're wearing, you were seen on CCTV, what car you're driving, you're with your partner. The HUD shows red icons for exactly what information dispatch has on you. They track three specific markers: your vehicle, your clothes, and your physical, including hair. Getting a salon cut wipes your physical profile. But if, or if you stay in the same getaway car, the cops will still spot you instantly. You can even split up or hit a barbershop mid chase to drop your search radio.
