Bringing ‘outside food and drink’ to restaurants is considered VERY normal in China and no-one blinks an eye! This shop owner not only allowed it, but gave my wife a bowl so she could eat her ‘outside noodles’ with me (I ordered from the shop). China is so refreshing sometimes!!!!
